Saturday and Sunday with the Grandparents home

We spent the weekend at home for the most part. We played at the park, in the pool, and Ryan and I got to go out to lunch all by ourselves!

Jake enjoys his PB&J just a little ;) He devours those things in his very own way.
More fun playing in the pool. We were in the pool at some point almost every day.
Tyler has loved these waterfalls since he was a few days old. Back then, the noise helped to soothe him as a coliky baby. Now, he can swim over to them and likes to let them crash over his head.
What better way to dry off after a good swim? I love how Tyler just adores his grandpa. They were pretty inseprable the whole week we were there.
Sunday
Eventhough it was fast Sunday, my dad sacrificed to make us his world-famous eggs benedict ;) Oh, and it was his birthday too! Here is Tyler enjoying the fruits of his labor.

Another favorite for Tyler lately is getting out board games and taking out every piece. He fell in love with Mouse Trap and thought it was so exciting to make the net fall down over the mice.
It was a welcome break to have Tyler's attention diverted. It was also nice to get to sit back and adore his cute little face, his infectious laugh, his excitement for anything and everything. We are so blessed to have such incredible grandparents on both sides who spoil these kids rotten with love and affection. Thanks for helping us teach them how to love and be loved.
We had to leave Sunday morning to get back to good ol' Vegas. We even got to cheat and bring my Mom back with us to stay with Heather since she will (hopefully) be having her baby boy any day now....more on that to come (???)
