Happy Birthday to Jacob!
Happy Birthday to our wonderful 2 year old. Can't believe it's been 2 years already (and we can't believe it's been only 2 years as well). You are so independent and strong willed. We hope that we can teach you the right way to use these wonderful attributes so they become an asset. :) Love you more than you know little boy. So glad we were blessed with our blonde-hair, blue-eyed boy.

Adam's One Month Stats
Our sweet little boy celebrated one month yesterday- and two weeks home.
Today we had our well check and our little man is still little.
7lb. 8oz. (up one pound from birth) 5-10%
20 1/2 in. 25-50%
He's doing good eating, sleeping, pooping, and growing, even if it is a little slower than his big brothers.
We are excited to watch him continue to grow and thrive.

Life is...
Busy and crazy. Hence the lack of blogging.
In case I ever forget and think I want another baby I am writing this to remind myself two things
1. I can't...due to surgical complications
2. my babies cry...A LOT...generally through the night and sleep deprivation isn't so much fun
Adam is still sweet and cute when he's asleep, which is still fairly frequently- just during the day.
I'm trying to not be so paranoid but it's hard to keep my mind from wandering into all his NICU problems when he cries for so long. He just had so many problems it's scary to not have the monitors to assure me that everything truly is okay and he's just a normal newborn with his days and nights mixed up.
In other news- Jake and Tyler are absolutely adorable with Adam still and they love him tons. Sometimes a little too much- but it's still cute.
We can't believe Adam is almost a month old and Jake is almost 2...time flies!

Home Sweet Home
It really happened. WE got to bring Adam home today. He was officially discharged and sent packing.
We got home to some anxious and excited big brothers about 5:30pm.
I'll get some pictures and a real update soon.
So glad to have him home, but that was the longest 13 days of my life!
There aren't words to thank the excellent Doctors, Nurses, and complete strangers who have been praying for our family. Thank you! Thank you!
