Well, this was a first we were not excited to have, but we ended up at the ER today.
Tyler had been throwing up all day and our backyard wasn't quite perfect. I was being the emotional, pregnant wife and called Ryan at work crying when Tyler just wouldn't stop puking. Ryan came home from work and we waited until the guys finished up the yard.
Tyler was so lethargic we knew something was just not right. We headed down the the urgent care and actually got in fairly quick. They decided our little guy needed IV fluids and they didn't have the means to do it there so we got sent to the Summerlin ER where they have a peds unit.
Our poor boy was begging for water and "chocolate" (chocolate milk) but we couldn't give him anything. His heart rate was sky high, his fever was 102.1, and he could hardly keep his eyes open. It was a little scary at times to try to decide between if he was just tired or having serious complications. He went through too many temperatures, none of which were taken orally, poor kiddo. He also had a catheter (so sad) and an IV. He was such a trooper. Even the nurse comment how sick he must be if he wasn't fighting at all. We went through a few tummy X-rays too.
Quite the day really. Thankfully the IV fluids stayed in just fine and once Tyler got some juice in a cool new sippy cup he was stoked! We were home by 8 and sweet guy was in bed by 8:30pm.
Thanks to all of the thoughts and prayers of the family. It is never easy to see a little one go through anything like this. We are thankful he is okay for the most part and hopefully tomorrow we'll be 100% again.

Awww Laura, how scary! I'm glad he's doing better now.
So glad he is okay!
I know your going through a tough time right now. Hang in there, and remember that the trials make us stronger. I love you, and that you are such an amazing mom. Tyler is lucky to have you.
Yikes, I hope he is feeling better now!
