Daddy got Tyler this cool wheel to hold all of (or most of) Tyler's hot wheels.
The birthday loot. We still wrap everything in tissue paper so he can tear into it without getting too frustrated. My favorite gift of the day- his Wall-E toothbrush - yay!
The big 2-year old wanted to dress himself. Only problem, he couldn't get his pj's off so he just put his shorts on over :) What a goof ball. He was excited to get out to the garage and help his daddy.
Causing trouble in the backyard. He loves to splash around in his little pool and sprinkler pad. He will use the bottle to squirt the walls and just about everything else.
Opening his cool Mr. Potato Head for the bathtub! Thanks Aunt Heather, Uncle Taylor, Ben and Maddy!
Just before singing- obviously Tyler could have cared less ;) Oh well.
Happy Birthday big boy! We love you and can't believe you've been ours for 2 full years now. Can't wait to see what fun you bring next year and all the years after that too. Love you monkey, stinky, little guy, kiddo, Tyler boy!We kept it low-key this year and celebrated just with our little family for most of the day and had Tyler's cousins over for dinner and swimming.
Tyler woke up from his crib mattress that has been on the ground and saw the streamers in his doorway and that is when the "party" began. We had streamers going down the banister and a Happy Birthday sign at the bottom of the stairs. There were balloons and decorations downstairs too. All day Tyler would say "party!". Probably the best part of the day.
We made pumpkin pancakes with candy syrup for breakfast then opened presents.
After a fun morning we cleaned up the garage (I know we're such cool parents aren't we) and let Tyler play out back before lunch and naps.
Tyler requested pizza for dinner since it's about the only thing he will eat for sure. We also had cake and ice cream.

I feel like we just celebrated his first birthday!!! Now you have two boys. Oh how time flys! Looks like he had an awesome birthday. Happy belated Birthday Tyler!!
I agree! Congrats ll' Tyler on turning two! Hope you are hanging in there as i am sure you have your hands full with two little ones! Love the pics, glad to see you guys are doing well!
Happy b-day Tyler! I have to tell you, Micah got that same tire wheel thing for Christmas and it has been a mixed blessing. He loves it, but he takes it full of cars out of his room and then dumps the entire contents out in another room!
