Here are the promised pictures. We enjoyed our steak pig-out. We had all sorts of sides; baked beans, potato salad, fruit salad, rolls, corn, and yummy desert! Granny pulled out all the stops and it was a raving success. The men enjoyed the time grilling and they even showed Tyler the ropes a bit.
It was so much fun to overlap our vacation with Popa for a few days. Tyler is so lucky to get to have grandparents and great-grandparents. Popa had a chance to see some of Tyler's new tricks and Tyler got to play games and get to know his Popa a little better.
Tyler had fun taking a bath in the big tub. He didn't know what to do with himself. At first he was unsure if the big tub was a good idea- but then he loved it!
It's a rare occasion to have the 4 generations together so we took the opportunity to snap a pic of the handsome men. We are missing daddy already. It was perfect to get to be together as a family for 10 whole days. This was the first time that we have had Ryan and Dad Crooks around. We loved our time in Sacramento and terribly regret the decision to come back to reality.
It really was fun to take a break from "life" and all the craziness going on right now. Although it was rough to come back, we got to visit our home and see how it's doing! We're only about 10 days away from owning our home.

It's nice to have pictures of four generations. I'm not even sure if my maternal grandparents have MET Greta. I think I was just incredibly pregnant last I saw them. Sad, huh? Tyler is so adorable. Greta loves to cook, too, but usually she just pretends with her play food or real dishes. She's especially fond of making "soup." (Usually this is just water.) She uses a spoon to slurp it up and says, "Nummy soup!" Isn't being a mommy fun?
